It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Felicito "Fex" Lustre, 86, who passed away peacefully on December 13, 2024. Fex was a loving father, cherished husband, and devoted friend, whose life was marked by his warmth, generosity, and deep sense of duty to those he loved.
Born to Maximo and Pacita, Fex grew up surrounded by the values of family, kindness, and hard work. He was a proud father to his children Felicito (Toti or Tony) Jr, Rouella, Michelle, and Alan, who will forever remember him for his wisdom, guidance, and unconditional love. Fex was also a devoted widower to his late wife, Redy Lustre, and later found love again with his second wife, Ruby Damasco, who was by his side in his final years.
Fex led an active and vibrant life, with a passion for sports and dancing. An avid golfer and bowler, he spent countless hours on the green and at the lanes, sharing both his skill and enthusiasm with his friends and family. His love of movement extended to the dance floor, where he could often be found dancing the tango, boogie woogie, cha-cha, and other lively dances. His rhythm and zest for life were a reflection of his joyful spirit, and he brought this energy to every gathering.
Fex was also a master of humor and storytelling, with a remarkable ability to tell jokes that made everyone laugh. Whether at family gatherings, with friends, or in casual conversations, his jokes and playful spirit could light up any room. His humor brought joy to those around him, and his infectious laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Fex lived a full life, always putting family first and deeply valuing the connections he made with everyone around him. His sense of humor, strong principles, and resilience were apparent in every aspect of his life. He made a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion to his children, grandchildren, and extended family, as well as many lifelong friends. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Rest in peace, Fex. You will be dearly missed.
A visitation for Fex will be held Friday, December 20, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Surprise Funeral Care, 16063 W. Bell Rd, Surprise, AZ 85374.
