Carole Ann Snyder

Carole was born on January 20, 1945, to Peter and Dorothea Clarke in Wilkes-Barre, PA where she was the oldest of five children.

In 1967, Carole married the love of her life, Robert W. Snyder also of Wilkes-Barre, PA Carole and Bob went on to have two children, Kristin L. Snyder and Tara L. Zimmermann.

Carole and Bob spent a few years living in Pennsylvania and New York and then made the brave decision to move to Huntington Beach, CA in 1976.

At the young age of 44, Carole was widowed and lived an extremely successful life with her two daughters.

Carole had a fantastic career with the “Department of Defense” and Boeing Special Programs where she retired from in 2012.

Upon retirement, Carole was involved with the Assistance League of Huntington Beach. Carole enjoyed volunteering her time at the store and helping with “Operation School Bell” which provides students in need with new school supplies, clothing and shoes. This program was near and dear to Carole’s heart.

Carole was truly loved by all her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Snyder, her sister Alison L. Clarke., her sister-in-law Jayne Clarke, and her niece Meghan Clarke.

Carole’s legacy will be carried on by her daughters, Kristin and Tara, her son-in-law Timothy Zimmermann, her grandchildren, Morgan and Mitchell Zimmermann and Eric Snyder-Filia, and her great grandchildren, Gianni, Luca, and Sir Dom Filia.

In lieu of flowers and in Carole’s honor, a kind donation to the Assistance League of Huntington Beach “Operation School Bell”, is greatly appreciated.
