Virg was one of the sweetest guys ever.   As family friends growing up, we all loved Virg.  He and my dad were especially good buddies and not only built things together but had a LOT of fun doing, whatever they were up to. 

Virg was the WHOLE PACKAGE: cute smile with a twinkle in his eye, a warm loving embrace, a sense of humor that still has me laughing, an ability to design and build anything-and be built well.  Even though Virg was big and strong and skilled, he was also a teddy bear, loving and caring, great at cooking in the kitchen, and always willing to  run the vacuum, or volunteer to do the dishes.  

I personally learned how to "cut-in" when painting from Virg.  I learned how to pop an avocado seed out of an avocado from him. Silly things, but skills that allow me to think of him and remember him through the rest of my life. I loved that man. What a guy.  You are and will continue to be missed Virg.  But you are in a much better place, with NO suffering.  

Gwen,  Our four parents are together again, probably playing pinnocle', eating some great food cooked up by our moms and our dad's are most likely pulling jokes on each other and laughing their butts off! 

It is tough to lose your last parent Gwen, really hits you hard.  But know that you loved and cared for your dad the best you could and how honored he was to receive such great love and care from his daughter as he suffered & struggled to wrap up this life on earth and enter heaven.  

Truly, A LIFE WELL LIVED VIRGIL LEE.  "You'd better believe it!" ( a famous Virg quote).

Gwen, It has been an honor to care for your dad over the past 5 weeks.  Your love and support for him has touched my heart.  It warms me reading all these wonderful comments about your dad, he truly was loved and such a kind man.  My thoughts and prayers go out to you, Walt, and your family during this difficult time.

Poppy was such an amazing man. He was the rock and strength that held our family together, through thick and thin. I feel so blessed to have had him in my life. He was loved by so many and had a heart of gold that can never be replaced. I have been told I have his smile, and that is something to be proud of. We will certainly miss him. Fly with the Angels sweet Poppy. Love and miss you so much xoxoxo

Virgil was one of a kind in a way I looked at him as a father figure, since I lost mine at a very young age.When the Lord calls our loved ones home,he leaves a gift of memories in exchange I know you have fantastic ones with your Dad Huggs

I grew up with stories of the misadventures of the Bagley boys. Uncle Virg, as he was called around our family was my Grandpa Billy's favorite brother. Grandpa's face would light up every time there was a call from him. Even after he passed Grandma and Uncle Virgil kept in contact. I will never forget his voice when I had to tell him that she had passed. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. My husband Clyde, my son Zachary, and I are keeping you all in our hearts and prayers.  Fly high Uncle Virg, fly high!

Not many Dads would take a car full of girls to see a rock concert in Denver but your dad did.  I spent a lot of time in your home and your dad was always so much fun.  I know how much he loved his family and you'll miss him terribly!  Love and prayers for your family.

As a CNA for hospice I get the opportunity to meet a lot of people.  Virgil was by far my most favorite patient.  His kind eyes, his soft voice, his kind heart, his love for his daughter Gwen and son in law Walt, his sweet gestures, have entered my heart.  He will be missed and thought about often.
