It's hard to believe you left us four years ago.  We still talk about the many laughs we had every time we were together.  You are still sorely miss, old pal. Love, Layne and Dan.

We miss you so much Tim, and we all think of you and the great time we spent together so often.

I never got to meet Tim Moore but recently connected with him through email. We found out that we were related, that he was my dad's first cousin. His mother Jessie Helen was the sister to my grandfather, Harry Wisterman. I just want to say to his sons that I am sorry for your loss and I would have loved to have gotten the chance to meet him in person. From his emails, he seemed to have been a kind and wonderful man.

My sincerest condolences  to the Family and friends of Tim. You left us too soon. Tim and I served together on the USS Skipjack in the 1960's and have remain friends ever since. Tim;s lost is a loss to the entire Submarine Community and personal lose to our family. I will miss seeing you at the USSVI Conventions.

I was blessed to be a classmate and friend of Tim's at Washington High School also class of 1960.  I remember Tim's really big contagious smile, he always seemed happy and he was a true friend. He will surely be missed by many.

The story of how Tim and I met each other is as special as our friendship...It was at a train station where Tim and Jack needed some information and we talked for about 20 minutes in the train. I gave them my email address for the case, they needed help during their stay in Munich. Some weeks later Tim wrote me an email and our "friendship over the pond" began! Tim visited us several times, we always had much fun, we were laughing, told each other stories of our lives, had some beer and food at great places and so Tim became a member of the family! With all the good and bad things that comes with it (for example our son James spit on Tims arm in a restaurant-like he wanted to say: "now you belong to us, Opa Tim!" and we named our second son Henry Timothy)
Thank you so much Tim for the time we had together with you, for making us familiar to "The sound of music", for understanding my funny "Germish" words (whale-nuts :-)), for sharing the love to the music of "The Carpenters", for each and every single WhatsApp message that brightened my day!

Aloha I met Tim a few years ago when he came to visit hawaii and he joined us in one of our monthly meetings at Pearl Harbor for the USSVI Bowfin Base sub veterans, he was discussing the memorial in Arizona and I happily donated to the cause. He was a very pleasant and wonderful person, I am deeply saddened at his passing, from our Ohana(Family) to his we send our deepest condolences, aloha my brother of the phin, I am going to miss your email updates on the memorial, fair winds and following seas, we have the watch,  respectfully MMC(SS) Pat Suenaga Ret and the suenaga ohana

I've know Tim for just a few years, but his passing is a loss for his family, friends and Submarine Veterans.  His work to get funding for the Arizona Submarine Service Memorial and bringing it to a groundbreaking ceremony on 08/03/2020  is a testament to his legacy forever.
Sailor rest your oars, go with God.

We had so much fun in so many places.  I cannot imagine life without Tim ...We were always laughing and laughing. He will be sorely missed by all of us.

Tim who I had the distinct pleasure working directly with on the Arizona Silent Service Memorial (ASSM) Project will be sorely missed.  His departure on Eternal Patrol leaves a huge void in the project's enthusiasm, dedication, and achievements.  Smooth sailing submariner.  Again, you will be missed.  Ray Olszewski ASSM Webmaster
