Ruth was born April 5, 1921 in Pilger, Nebraska to Walter and Bertha Layton, strong Methodists. Ruth learned to love the Lord. She attended Wayne State Teachers College and taught school in many Nebraska locations. Moving to Denver, she was employed by Transamerica Title for 25 years. She was husband Les have enjoyed 61 years together. They do not have any immediate family. At Willowbrook, Ruth served on the board, and together ushered for several years. Funeral service will be held June 20, 2013 at Willowbrook United Methodist Church in Sun City at 10:00am. Graveside service following at 11:00am at Sunland Cemetery.
