Richard (Rick) Paul Hain 64, passed suddenly Thursday morning, at home in Peoria, AZ. He was born October 9, 1958, in Boston, MA, a son of Paul T. and Virginia M. (Ricciardi) Hain and graduated with his Food Trades Certification and Diploma from Assabet Valley Regional Vocational High School in 1976.
Rick was predeceased by his father Paul and is survived by his mother Virginia, wife Teri, daughter Rachael, brothers Tim (Pat), Paul (Penny), Chris (Jessica) and sister Susan. He will also be, missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In his earlier years, Rick worked in the culinary trade, throughout MA before moving to CO. After returning to MA, he transitioned his career to the Painting Trades, working as a commercial / residential Painter in greater Middlesex County before moving to Phoenix in 1993, where he was a union member of the Painters and Allied Trades International Union until he retired.
Rick was a proud father and had a passion for food, people, motorcycles and was an avid sports enthusiast. A life-long New England Patriots fan, he could be found cheering on the Pats or his other favorite sports team / players on any given Sunday. In his spare time, Rick enjoyed socializing with friends and family, and riding his Harley. Later in life he became an avid golfer and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Cremation care has been cared for and provided by the Sunland Memorial Park, Mortuary & Cremation Center, Sun City, AZ, with a private burial ceremony. A celebration of life to occur in New England, this summer.
