He was born March 21, 1965 in North Tonawanda, NY. He was the son of James F. and Joyce C. Burdge Gilbert.
Paul graduated from Alta High School in Sandy, UT. He joined the U.S.A.F. and became a helicopter mechanic and Sargeant. He drove trucks for Schnider and Mckelvey trucking companies.
Paul enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, motorcycles, pets, barbequing, and his home.
Along with his parents, Paul is survived by his sister Christina Gilbert (Susan Bustya) of Show Low, AZ; brother Ronald (Michelle) Gilbert of Phoenix, AZ; two daughters: Amanda Gilbert Dagget Shaffer of Washington, D.C., and Charlotte (Austen) Montjio or Mesa, AZ, and his three month old grandson Ezio Frederick Montjio. There are also many cousins, nieces, nephews, and lots of friends.
He was fun to be with, loved by many, and will be missed terribly. Sleep in Peace.
