Marjorie M. Moore, loving Mother and Grandmother, passed away on January 6, 2018, at the age of 85. Marjorie was born March 18, 1932, in Otway, Ohio, to Raymond and Relva Spears Brown. She is survived by daughters, Debra Egelston (husband Doug) and Connie Comfort (husband Mark); grandchildren Chrystal Seaman (husband Matt), Scott Comfort (wife Rylan), Sarah Peterson (husband Dan), Brandon Miller (wife Melissa), Lesley Trammel, Jenna Whitehill (husband Kurt), Mary-Kate Egelston and 14 great grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters Patricia Caraway, Gayle Davis and Sue Evans (husband Gary). Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, William R. Moore; her parents and four siblings, Oscar Brown, Joanne Puckett, Betty Pride and Reva Butts. Marjorie attended Morehead State University in Kentucky where she received her B.A. in Education in 1961. She continued her education and received her M.A. in Education at the University of New Mexico in 1971. Over a 23 year period, Marjorie taught elementary school. She started teaching in Williamsburg, Ohio. In 1966, Bill and Marjorie moved to Los Lunas, NM, where she taught for 6 years. In 1972, Bill and Marjorie returned to Ohio where she continued her teaching career at Bethel, Ohio. In 1980, they followed their children to Arizona where they resided in Sun City. Throughout her life, Marjorie attended the Church of the Nazarene everywhere she lived. She served as a member in various capacities using her gift of teaching. Marjorie's loving presence in our lives will be deeply missed. Her endlessly kind heart and gentle spirit were a blessing to each of us and made the spirit of Christ manifest in our lives.
