Marie Anna Oswald, age 97 of Sun City, Arizona passed away April 12, 2014. She was born in Brooklyn, New York to Charles Knodt and Frances Palmer. Marie Anna was a faithful servant of the Lord and volunteering her time to many causes in her community. She was a loving mother, wife, and benevolent to everyone she met. Marie Anna is survived by her son, Charles Andrew Oswald; daughters, Eileen Marie Oswald and her husband Glenn Davis Moffett, Judith Ann Hawkins and her husband Loring Elwood Hawkins; grandchildren, Dr. Kathleen Mary Hawkins-Partridge, Scott Loring Hawkins; great grandchildren, Lindsey Hawkins, Paige Hawkins, Andrew Partridge, Meagan Partridge; brother, Robert Charles Knodt and his wife Charlotte Knodt; nephew, Craig Anderson and great-niece, Keri Leigh Reda. Marie Anna is preceded in death by her husband Charles Bernard Oswald. Marie will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. Funeral service will be held Saturday April 19, 2014 10:30am and graveside service at 11:00am located at Sunland mortuary in Sun City, Arizona.
