Kathryn Butler, 89, of Phoenix passed away June 21, 2011 after valiant battle with Alzheimer’s. She passed peacefully with her husband, of 55 years, William and her three son’s Colonel, Ronald and Daniel, by her side. Kathryn was born in Perryville, Missouri on December 31, 1921 and is survived by her sisters Alfreda, Virginia, Pat and Marilyn, 9 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, daughter-in-laws as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Kathryn moved to Phoenix in 1952, she was a devoted housewife and mother who loved to play cards, dance and entertain, write short stories and sketch fashions of the day. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her- God has a new angel on duty in heaven today.
