Kathy was born on December 3, 1954, the second child of Richard and Theresa Holl. She was born in Madison, WI. Her father was a student at the Madison campus of the University of Wisconsin. She had one older sister. In her early years, the family lived in Madison and Milwaukee, WI as well as Oak Ridge, TN and Ann Arbor, MI. There were many cousins to play with and she made many happy memories. In 1962 the family moved to California. Kathy lived mostly in California for the rest of her life. Two more brothers were now part of the family. She enjoyed horse riding, Girl Scouts, playing games with the family, and playing the guitar. She graduated from Foothill High School in Tustin in 1972. Kathy got a license to become a hair stylist. She worked for several years at “Magic Mirror” beauty salon and Broadway department store beauty salon. She later worked in the family Hallmark store, then worked as an accountant for a computer hardware company in Carlsbad. Her next venture was as the manager of a family business, Jenna Baskets. And her final job was as a partner with her sister in a distribution business. One of Kathy’s passions was traveling. She went to Hawaii multiple times, to Victoria, Canada, to Beijing China several times, and she lived in Germany for 2 months. In her later years, she enjoyed cruising. Kathleen passed away on August 10, 2022. Kathleen is survived by her sister Theresa, her brothers Michael and Richard, her nieces Jennifer, Allie, and Valentina,her brother-in-law Rodger, her sister-in-law Monica, her great nephew, Martin, and her great niece Raina.
A committal service for Kathleen will be held Wednesday, August 17, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 9:15 AM at Sunland Memorial Park & Mortuary, 15826 Del Webb Blvd, Sun City, AZ 85351.
Kathleen will be laid to rest in Sunland Cemetery Lakeside , 15826 Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ.
