John passed away peacefully from an extended illness, knowing he was loved, with his wife of 46 years, Sandy, at his side. It was a beautiful day, with family holding vigil, sharing memories and saying their goodbyes throughout the day.

John had an interesting working career, starting with working for Western Union for 29 years as a lineman, a computer repairman both in the States and then Internationally for 10 years. During this time he went to night school earning his Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering. In 1974, he had the opportunity to take a management position with a Northern California company, and from there enjoyed the life of a salesman for a few different companies; finally retiring in 1995.
This was a man who enjoyed his retirement years, eventually moving to Sun City in 2004. An avid golfer; loved to sing and joined several different choruses; active in both our church and community.
