Helen B. Rosenthal was born on July 31, 1925 in Hillsboro, Kansas to John and Anna Becker. She was the next to youngest of eight children; Two brothers and five sisters. One living sister remains, Berdie "Becky" Becker.
As a child, the family moved to Dinuba, CA. After high school she went to work as a file clerk in the shipyard in Long Beach, CA. In July 1945 she married Donald Gray Neidigh from PA, who was serving in the U.S. Coast Guard. After beauty college she worked as a beautician for several years. They owned Handy Nabor Rents in Long Beach, CA for many years and also A All Carpet Cleaning.
They had two daughters, Sheri and Walter Morales and Candy and Tony gutierrez. In 1976 she lost her husband to cancer.
In 1979 Helen married Ervin Rosenthal, a building contractor, in Sanger, CA. Upon his retirement, they moved to Southern CA and were very active in the Gideons.
In 2000 they moved to El Dorado condominiums in Sun City, AZ, to be their final residence, which they thoroughly enjoyed. Helen's daughter Sheri went to be with the Lord in 2009, and her husband Ervin followed in 2011.
Helen's two daughters gave her nine grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
