Beverly J Lenz

She graduated from Estherville High School in 1948. On June 17, 1950 she was united in marriage to Leo Lenz in Estherville, IA. She started her work career as a bookkeeper at Tobins Packing Co. She also worked as a bookkeeper at Estherville Coop Creamery until she joined her husband Leo as his office manager for his State Farm Ins. Agency.

She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Estherville where she participated in the Catholic Daughters of America and the Altar and Rosary Society. She was a Girl Scout Troop Leader for many years. She was also a prolific and enthusiastic bridge player.

She moved to Arizona with her husband of 61 years in 1985 and had resided in Sun City since 1992. Beverly is survived by her husband Leo, daughters Deborah Christiansen (Kurt), Vickie Hall, Kathie Jenkins (Jeff), son Jeff Lenz (Judi), grandchildren Janel Bakk (Eric), Katie Lenz, Johnathan Hall, Jacob Lenz and great grand-daughter Autumn Bakk. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Beverly passed away on September 11, 2011 in the arms of her loving husband. Arrangements under the direction of Sunland Memorial Park, Mortuary & Cremation Center, Sun City, AZ.
