Pearl S. Kelly, 77, of Puyallup, passed away on October 10, 2017. Mom was born on January 4, 1940 in Buchanan, Michigan to William and Susanna (Woyak) Brown, the youngest of eight children. Her father passed away when she was young and later in life her mother would remarry Claude Remington. Mom was an extremely hard worker. She was proud of becoming a teamster and then later an assisntant manager at Darigold Ice Cream in Rainer Beach. She did all of this while being a single mother of four. A devout catholic, she was active at Holy Family Catholic Church in Auburn, then eventlualy moved to St Andrews in Sumner, Washington. During her younger years she was active in The Kent New Comers Club. Mom enjoyed camping as well as watching us kids in our various activates that she supported. As life moved forward she spent 15yrs caring for her own Mother, along with her sibling. She is survived by her children, John (Cheryl) Guillot Jr., Jean May, Dorothy Lomax and Cindy Sharick-Dzubay; 11 grandchildren; numerous greatgrandchildren, nieces and nephews; Rose Waters, Jim (Dori) Brown Ester Smith, Dorothy Marlat and Lillian Spinler. Besides her parents and Claude, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Brown and sister Bertha Hilligoss. There will be a Celebration of Life on Friday, October 27th at 1:00 at Powers Funeral Home in Sumner. Mom is now happily in the arms of the LORD, may she rest in peace.
