She was born in Limon, Colorado to Robert Francis Sughrue and June Rose Parker, both of Dodge City, Kansas. She grew up on farms and ranches on the plains of Kansas and Colorado.
She is survived by two children, Nicole June Brawley Crawford and Patrick Brendhan Boru Reynolds; brother, Richard James Goddard and sister, Donna Goddard Samuelsson; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and many cousins. One brother, Robert Patrick Sughrue, preceded her in death.
She was married for 43 years to Terry Lamont Reynolds after they met in her art gallery in the Houston area.
She was active for the last 35 years in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, spending her time teaching the Gospel and serving others.
Her sense of humor was notoriously irreverent; she cared for all animals dearly and will be sincerely missed. The world is a better place for having known her. There will be a memorial service at a later date. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com.
