Sarah Florence Parker

Sarah Florence Parker, 64, of Sulphur, Louisiana passed away on Monday, February 26, 2024. She loved her flower garden, gardening, angel collector, and loved to play the piano. Sarah was a CNA for many years, and loved spending time with her family and friends. To her, everyone was family that she came in contact with. She was a native of Dorchester, Massachusetts and had been a resident of Sulphur for over 60 years.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children, James Needer of Sulphur, Louisiana, Timothy Larsen (Alexis) of San Diego, California, James "Bud" Halsell of Blytheville, Arkansas, and Joanna Winters of Michigan; father, Arthur Parker; sisters, Suzanne Parker, Anita Kay Perez (Raul), and Jessie Madonna Corlito; brothers, Michael Joseph Corlito, Leroy Edward Parker, Daniel Bruce Parker, and James Allen Parker; step-sisters, Suzanne Nelson (Wes), Janice Baty (Buryl), and Arlene Blanchard (Greg); nine grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Matilda MacEachern; and brothers, Earl Wes Parker and Arthur Lee Parker.

A Graveside Celebration of Sarah's life will be held at the family's private cemetery, led by Hixson Celebrant Jody Barrilleaux at 2:00 pm, on Sunday, March 3, 2024.
