Sally Ann Busby, 83, of Sulphur, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2023 at her residence. She was born to her late parents, Albert and Catherine "Kakkie" Kyle on May 30, 1940 in Hackberry, Louisiana. She was a faithful member of Christian Life Church in Sulphur, Louisiana. She enjoyed fishing off the wharf and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her three sons, Albert David Busby (Susan), Quentin Earl Busby (Angelia), and Anthony "Tony" Oliver Busby (Marguerite) all of Sulphur, Louisiana; brothers, Mitchell Kyle of Hackberry, Louisiana; sister, Florence Billiot (Dan) of Kinder, Louisiana; sister-in-laws, Jean Kyle, Blanche "Sis" Gilley, and Dianne Busby; 7 grandchildren, Derrick, Jennifer, Christopher, Joe, Shelli, Clinton, and Cody; 24 great grandchildren; along with 5 great-great grandchildren.
Sally is preceded in death by her husband, John David "Snookie" Busby; her parents; brothers, Ernest Kyle, Michael Kyle; sister-in-laws, Verna Lee Kyle, and Billie Jean Kyle.
A Celebration of Sally's life will be held at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home in Sulphur, Louisiana on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at 10:00 am, with Pastor Marcus Wade officiating. Visitation will be at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 8:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will follow at New Hackberry Cemetery in Hackberry, Louisiana.
