Robert Lee Reese

Robert worked in the refinery until he was able to do his true love of being a Commercial Fisherman. He enjoyed hunting, trapping, and fishing. Robert's second love was being an artist! He painted and carved amazing gifts for his friends and family.

Robert was preceded in death by his son, Jessie Ray Reese, his parents, Albert Reese, Sr. and Nellie Jones Reese, and a brother, Albert "Jr." Reese, Jr.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Margaret Reese; daughter, Kathy Brooks and husband, Richard; daughter, Victoria Blackman, sons, Ricky Blackman, John Blackman, and Terry Blackman; grandchildren, Brian Henley (Erica), John Micheal "Boozie" Moon (Brandi), Kelsi Moon, Kristin "T.T." Brooks, and numerous other grandchildren; brother, Wayne Cormier; sisters, Wanda Sue Walker (Greg) and Barbara Ann Thibodeaux; sister-in-law, Faye Reese; great-grandchildren, Cameron and John Jr. "J.J." and 2 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Robert's wishes were to be cremated and cremation was entrusted to Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at Noon on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at his home, 5483 Owen Road, Carlyss, LA 70665.
