Gary was a native of Sulphur and was a graduate of Westlake High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp. Gary was a member of the Insulators & Asbestos Local Union 112 and former business owner of, "THE STORE" in Sulphur. Gary enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, working on his tractor on his ranch, and spending time with his wife and family, especially the badminton tournaments!
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 31 years, Glenda LeJeune Vincent of Deridder, his children, Jason Vincent of Houston, TX, Ranee Corbello (Jason) of Lake Charles; step-daughter, Lee Richard (Mike) of Sulphur; step-son, Chuck Gros (JoAnn) of Cebu, Philippines; his grandchildren, Sonni Moseley (Dylan), Jasi Babineaux (Justin), Madison Vincent, Andrew Fontenot, Audra Fontenot, and Kendall Corbello; his step-grandchildren, Taylor McGuane, Mackenzie (Carmen), Brooke Richard, Annalie Gros; his great-grandchildren, Harper & Van Moseley and Haven & Cash Babineaux; his step great-grandchildren, Mason John, Chloe and Riggs McGuane; his sister, Cathy Garlington (George) of Sulphur; his sister-in-law, Martha Vincent, and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Adam & Vola Fay Cole Vincent; brothers, Kenneth, Donald Wayne, & Glen Allen Vincent; sister, Debbie Bailey.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow with military honors in Southwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Jennings under the direction of Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home.
