Michael Anthony "Mikey" Fontenot Jr.

Mikey graduated from Sulphur High School and worked for the Brock Group. Mikey enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being in the great outdoors. He also enjoyed cooking. Mikey loved hanging out with his family and friends and loved taking his children to the beach and fishing trips.

Mikey was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Dennis Bramlett, and his paternal grandparents, Robert and Evelyn Fontenot.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his children, Khloee Fontenot, Michael "M.J." Fontenot III, and Weston Fontenot; father, Michael "Mike" Fontenot, Sr. and his wife, Kelly; his mother, Sherry Williams and Marvin Istre; maternal grandmother, Bonnie Bramlett; sister, Tiffany Fontenot and her wife, Nicole; sister, Brittany Fontenot; nephew, Sydney Ramsaroop; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will resume from noon until time of service on Monday.

Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 21, 2022 in the Chapel at Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Jay Lawson officiating. Burial will follow in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly.
