Mary Lee Badeaux, 87, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2022 at her residence in Sulphur, Louisiana surrounded by her loving family. She was born to her late parents, Odey and Leona Soileau on September 3, 1935 in St. Landry, Louisiana. Mary was a devout Christian and enjoyed listening to Christian music, reading, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Cindy Vidrine (Alvin) of Port Barre, Louisiana, Julie Ryder (Richard) of Sulphur, Louisiana, Gregory Badeaux (Tiffiney) of Orange, Texas; eleven grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; along with nieces and nephews.
Mary is preceded in death by her husband, John Willis Badeaux; infant daughter, Anita Gail Badeaux; four brothers; three sisters; along with her grandson, Richard Ryder, Jr.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Hixson Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home on Monday, September 19, 2022, at 12:00 pm. Leading the Celebration of Life Service will be Hixson Celebrant Jody Barrilleaux. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday, beginning at 8:00 am until the time of the service.
