Louis "Ron" LeBrun

He was a native and lifelong resident of Sulphur and was a 1967 graduate of Sulphur High School. Ron was employed at a local refinery for 22 years. He was an avid golfer and won several golf tournaments. He enjoyed life and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Donna LeBrun; two sons, Jason LeBrun and wife, Theresa and Aaron LeBrun and wife, Tia; one daughter, Melanie LeBrun, all of Sulphur; two brothers, Henry LeBrun of Sulphur and James Thomas LeBrun of Lake Charles; one sister, Daphne LeBrun of Lake Charles; and ten grandchildren, Ian LeBrun, Syndi Jones, Kameron Jones, Tyler Metcalf, Zara Durocher, Jonah Cunningham, Victoria LeBrun, Austin LeBrun, Kaycie LeBrun, and Shyla LeBrun. He is preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Sybil LeBrun; and a grandson, Garrett Cade LeBrun.

His funeral was at 1 p.m. Friday, December 30, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. The Rev. Larry LaFleur officiated. Visitation was from 5-9 p.m. Thursday and 11 a.m. until the time of service Friday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
