Janice Gail Jackson, 72, of Sulphur, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2024. She was born to her late parents, George and Geraldine Turbeville in Winnsboro, Louisiana. Janice worked in Payroll for Chicago Bridge and Iron for a number of years. She loved her grandchildren dearly and enjoyed spending time with her family. Janice was a selfless person, and always was doing for others, especially her family and work family.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Alva Jackson; children, Randal Smith (Corinne) of Sulphur, Aaron Jackson of Sugarland, Texas, and Shea Denham (John) of Austin, Texas; siblings, Kenneth Turbeville, Terry Turbeville (Betty), and Zona Ellington (Roger), all of Baskin, Louisiana; eight grandchildren, Avery Smith, Casey Smith, Kelsy Smith, Rayna Breaux (Keithen), Logan Davidson, Brody Davidson, Aubreigh Davidson, Michael "Trey" Akroosh, III; two great grandchildren, Eyleigh Breaux and Easten Breaux; along with her brother-in-law, Bruce Rollins.
Janice is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Angela Davidson; along with siblings, George Rudell Turbeville and Renee Rollins.
A Celebration of Janice's life will be held at a later date.
