T.S. McDaniel Jr.

THOMAS STANLEY (“T.S.”) MCDANIEL, age 95, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2010. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marifay (“Mary”) McDaniel; daughter, Carmen Forbes; and brothers, James and Eugene.

T.S. is survived by his daughter, Melinda Friou and her husband Jim; sister, Gladys Plentyl; son-in-law, Gene Forbes; grandchildren, Mary Forbes, Earl Forbes, Michele Friou, and Craig Friou; great-grandchildren, Ashley and Sara Stanford, Chloe Forbes, Travis and Colin Flinchbaugh, and Elise and Elliot Friou; and several nieces and nephews.

T.S. was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who loved golf, the Houston Astros, and ice cream almost as much as he loved his family.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family on Sunday, December 12, 2010, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, at The Settegast-Kopf Co. @ Sugar Creek, 15015 Southwest Freeway, Sugar Land (Williams Trace Exit). Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 13, 2010, at 11:00 AM, in The Morrow Chapel of The Settegast-Kopf Co. @ Sugar Creek. T.S. will be laid to rest next to his wife and eldest daughter at Glenwood Cemetery.
