Louis Claude Reda

Born January 26, 1931 in Bronx, NY he was son of the late Anthony and Elena (Campanaro) Reda. Louis attended Roosevelt High School and continued his education at Fordham University School of Pharmacy. He then entered and proudly served his country state side as a pharmacist. He opened Reda Pharmacy in 1977 in Chestnut Ridge, NY serving his community for 30 years. After retiring, he took the opportunity to spend more time with his grandchildren. He was an avid golfer and a lifelong Yankee fan. He was devout Catholic and was member of the Spring Valley Lions.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years Kathleen nee Hand, sons Brendan, Andrew, wife Yanara, Bill, wife Lourdes, Robert and daughter Rosemary. He was blessed to have so many grandchildren: Ottice, Gabriela, Caitlin, Daniel, Emily, Allison, Patrick, Sean, Grace, Fallon, Giselle, Lilly and great grandson Roman as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Louis was predeceased by his brothers Anthony Reda, Joseph Reda, sisters Gloria Ricciardi and Elaine Nicolucci, as well as precious grandson Liam Reda.

Friends and family can call on Friday, February 11th from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-9:00 at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Church of the Presentation, 271 West Saddle River Road, Upper Saddle River, NJ on Saturday, February 12 at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Ascension Cemetery Airmont, NY
