It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Henry Marseille, 67, of Pomona, New York, on December 20, 2024. Henry was born on February 12, 1957, in Grand Goavé, Haiti, to his late father, Macillon Marseille, and his late mother, Idamise TousPuissant-Marseille. Henry was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He leaves behind his devoted wife, Pauline "Mona", and their children, Cindy and Henry Jr. He was a proud and doting grandfather to Maycin, Tayden, Jaylynn, and Dolly. Henry is also survived by his brothers, Tony, Castel, and Rigaud, and his sisters, Paulette, Irene, and Jeanna. He was pre-deceased by his beloved sisters, Orietta, Jeanot, DeLande, and Patrice.
Henry was a man of many passions. He loved playing the saxophone, and his deep appreciation for music was a defining part of his life. His love for soccer was also a significant part of his character, bringing him joy and connecting him with others. Henry was known for his kindness and willingness to help those in need. His forgiving nature touched the lives of many who were fortunate enough to know him.
Henry's family and friends will remember him for his generosity, his warm spirit, and his ability to bring people together with his love of music and sports. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A visitation will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025, at Wanamaker & Carlough Funeral Home, 177 Route 59, Suffern, NY 10901. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at St. Joseph Church, Route 45, Spring Valley, NY 10977. Entombment will follow at Ascension Cemetery, 650 Saddle River Road, Airmont, New York.
Henry's legacy of love, music, and compassion will live on in the hearts of his family and all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
