Met you in a bathroom in New York City as we were putting on make up to get ready to make our sales pitches. You introduced me to your sister who I thought of as a sister and who was my best friend. She left and I miss her. So sorry you are gone.

Happy Birthday Diane! Miss you more than words could ever say but more importantly your presence is missed by a little boy. I am working stead fast to keep my vow and promise to you (and Mommy) to love and care for Anthony in your absence. Please protect and watch over him.

I had the pleasure of being a former colleague of Diane at Physio Control. She was a great Mother,Wife,and co-worker. I am truly saddened by her passing away. My condolences and prayers go out to her Family and Friends. She will be missed greatly.

I had the pleasure and privilege to work closely with Diane in several business situations.  She was the consummate professional and well liked and respected by her customers and colleagues.  Please know that she made a difference and that with her loss, we are diminished.

I was deeply saddened by the news of Diane's passing. Unfortunately we lost touch after high school but I thought of her often. My heart felt condolences to her family. Diane I wish you peace and love always. Rest well.

What a terrible loss. You were a great friend for the past 30 years. I had prayed you beat it, was so surprised it was back and took you from us so fast.

My mother use to say that she named us after we where born. She said even though she had some names in mind that our names would be revealed to her after she studied our faces and perhaps got to know us over the first few days of our lives. How perceptive my mother was to know what it truly means to embrace a name.

Diana; goddess of the hunt, goddess of creation, the moon, childbirth, wild animals, youth, beauty, woodlands, the countryside and is often surrounded by dogs.

As a child, having been raised half in the city and half in Rockland, Diane could not help but be introduced to the countryside at an early age. But Diane had her own way with the woods. Camping, as she embraced, did not crimp her style. It came with all the comforts of home. One such comfort was a portable three way lighted make-up mirror in order to maintain her beauty while camping. My sister's idea of camping is what they now call Glamping.' She was way ahead of her time.

She believed wild animals where to maintain their own fur and not to be worn by humans. She was the first person I knew that despised the adorning of an animal pelt or fur coat of any kind. Diane embodied her name and became a voice for the voiceless wild animals of the woods early on. So instead, the love of the hunt was transferred into the pursuit of shopping. No one, and I mean no one, could match her stamina for the sport of bargain hunting.

Goddess of the moon, she definitely preferred the night, as you would know if you spent anytime with her in the morning. A morning person my sister was not. Working late, nightlife, staying out late and enjoying what the night had to offer in all its mystery, that is when Diane came alive. If something was happening after sundown, Diane was there. 

Goddess Diana is rarely represented without dogs. So too was Diane. For the majority of her life dogs where present both in our family home and her own. Your first babies, Pepper and Mica, how they must have welcomed you with lots of sloppy wet kisses on the other side. How wise of the goddess in you Diane to have left Ace now to guard over your precious child Anthony in your absence.

It is said that Goddess Diana gave birth to her brother Apollo, God of the Sun, so they could rule the heavens together. So too, Diane created and gave birth to the love of her life, the light of her life, Anthony. Having a child so late in life she could not imagine finally being a mother. She would say, it was like being in a dream. Anthony, you have no idea how much you meant to your mother. You gave her the gift of a lifetime. She knew she was blessed to have you. You hold within you all that is bright, good and pure, all that your mother gave to you, her light, her love, her own personal Sun.

In days gone by, the hunters where the warriors of the tribe. Diane, you optimized the soul of the warrior. You fought fiercely for everything that you held dear, your career, your home, your son, and your life. Life was something to be savored, relished and lived to the fullest. This unfortunately comes with a price for the warrior. Sometimes, the greatest gifts come with the greatest burdens. The warrior enjoys the spoils of war with the risk of losing their own life, perhaps, sooner than their time. Diane, you fought your last battle valiantly, perhaps, sooner than you where willing to accept. Perhaps, too, sooner than we are willing to accept. Rest now always in peace my beautiful warrior goddess sister, the sweetness of eternal rest is yours, you earned it.

To Al and Anthony:  My heart goes out to you on the loss of your wife and mother.  Diane was so young.  We wish our words could somehow ease your sadness but in our hearts we know the most they can do is simply tell you how much we care. you are in our thoughts and prayers at this time . love, Jo-Ann, Bob and J,R, Amantea

My Physio sales rep for over 20 years.. ALWAYS a pleasure to work with you.. and you always helped our small fire department as best you could.. Had no idea you were ill and am totally shocked that you are gone..  Rest in Peace..  Prayers for your family..

Diane, I love you it won't be the same without you. Together in the end, I was honored to be near you the last days of your short life. Sad but grateful that we became very close until your last breath. I watched over you to keep you as comfortable as possible telling you not be afraid, that your mother is waiting for you. Your trust and love that you had for me, i will carry it for the rest of my life. When I had to tell you that it was ok to let go, and I really didn't want you to go it was hard. I asked you when its my time for me to leave this world to come for me. The emptiness will forever be in my heart but the light of you and your love will shine through you beautiful son Anthony. Rest with the angels. You have touched many with your kindness, love, and spirit, you sure have made my life better.

I love you always to the end. Miss you already. Its not going to be the same without you. May you rise to the heavens and be at peace with your mom and granny. Love you...untill we meet again xoxo

You always knew how to live life to the fullest!  Your passion for motherhood, family and success were unmatched.  Whenever your beloved Anthony flashes his energy and smile toward us, there you will be also.  Rest in God's peace.

Diane...my dear cousin Diane. Your smile and laughter will be sorely missed by me. I will always remember your advise as to "taking risks" and "jumping over the precipice". Your passion for life was so special to all of us. You will always be in my heart and in my prayers.


What a shocker. It was just four days ago and it is still a shocker. Diane- you will be missed. I know that now you are with your mother and that gives me at least some comfort. I am sure that this is also a consolation to all the lives you have touched. My deepest sympathy to Tony and Brigid with all my love.

Oh Diane...I can't believe you are gone. And missing your little boy growing up...my heart too all of our family...it has been a long time since I last saw you-working with you in the lab. You were always so beautiful with a winning smile. You will be missed greatly.
