Avelino was born on September 25, 1924 in Portugal to Joaquim and Maria (DeJesus) Rodrigues. He was a self employed Mason, Rodrigues Construction Company and retired in 1989.
He is survived by his loving children Edgardo Rodrigues and his wife Elizabeth of Monroe,NY, Yolanda Cabrera of SC and Leticia Rodrigues-Maldonado of FL; his devoted sisters Maria and Isabel of NJ; three adoring grandchildren Michael Rodrigues, Jasmine Rodriguez-Cintron and Stephanie Guadalupe. He is also survived by his great granddaughter Meyli Vicioso. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Isabel Rodrigues in 1999.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 18th and Tuesday October 19th from 3-5 and 7-9pm at the WANNAMKER & CARLOUGH FUNERAL HOME, 177 Route 59 Suffern, NY 10901. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday evening starting at 7:30 pm at the funeral home. Interment will take place at St. Raymond’s Cemetery on Wednesday, October 19th at 11:30 am.
