Kendra was born in Newburgh, NY, on November 26, 1947. She married James Duffy on April 20, 1974, and the two built a life together, eventually moving to Wilbraham, MA, in 1977 where they raised their two sons, Keith and Kenneth. Her academic studies culminated in a Master of Social Work from Smith College, which was followed by a career supporting people in vulnerable communities including hospice patients and veterans. This commitment to others continued with her outreach work through St. Elizabeth’s Church of Sudbury up to the point of her hospitalization.
Kendra is survived by her son Keith Duffy of Sudbury, MA, his wife Sarah, her grandsons Quinn and Rhys; her son Kenneth Duffy of Milton, VT, his wife Bethany; and her sister Karen Wolf of Cairo, NY.
