Betty Lee Rankin

Betty Lee Rankin went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, September 11, 2024. Betty was the daughter of the late William and Ida Hayes. She was a lifelong resident of Staunton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marion “Poochie” Rankin; and a son, Danny Rankin. She leaves behind her daughter, Beverly Irvine; son, Marvin “Tony” Rankin and wife, Emily; daughter, Theresa Bailey and husband, Steve; grandsons, Carl Winters Irvine III and wife, Jennifer, Alex Rankin, and Ronnie Bailey; great-grandchildren, Nick and Gabe Irvine, Evelynn and Gabbi Rankin, and Tiffany, Aaron and Hayden Bailey. Betty loved nature and animals, especially her many kitty cats. She will be sadly missed. Per her wishes, there will be no formal viewing or services.
