Mary A. McNally of Wellington, Florida and Stuart, Florida, died on December 16, 2024 from complications brought on by old age. She was 95. Born March 15, 1929 in New York, New York, Mrs. McNally was the daughter of the late Margret (Clavin) and Daniel Lenoard. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward J. McNally and her son Edward P. McNally. She was a school crossing guard in New York City, a secretary at Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, part-time realtor and demonstrator of Apron Foods at Publix Supermarkets in Royal Palm Beach, Florida for over 20 years.
Active in the community, Mary was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Rita Catholic Church. She just celebrated her 25th year with the Secular Franciscan Order as shown by her robe and garments that she is laid out in. She loved to travel and was planning her next excursion. More than anything, she loved her family, friends and religious sisters.
She is survived by three children, Corneilous (Margret) McNally of Satellite Beach, Florida, Deborah Chamberlin of Ocala, Florida, and Mary DiFederico of Stuart, Florida. She had seven cherished grandchildren: Colin, Connor and Kyle McNally, Lee and Scott Chamberlin, Michael and Lauren DiFederico. Additionally, two great-grandchildren Liam and Mackenzie Chamberlin.
The family will receive visitors at St. Christopher Church, 12001 SE Federal Hwy, Hobe Sound, Florida on Friday, December 20th from 12 noon. The internment will be private later. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions would be sincerely appreciated and may be directed to St. Christopher Catholic Church or St. Anthony of Padua Fraternity at St. Mark Church, 643 St. Mark Place, Boynton Beach, FL 33435 or their phone 561-734-9330.
