Daniel J. Tobin

Dan was born in New York, New York on February 25, 1945 to Joseph and Mary Tobin. He is survived by wife Jeanne, daughter Yvonne (Ron), son Stephen (Nanette), son Glenn (Jen), son Brian (Natalie), grandchildren Ryan, Robert (Kathleen), John, Becca, Destiny (Michael), and Sonia, siblings Nancy, Molly (David), Kathy (John). He was predeceased by his parents and beloved brother Vincent (Elizabeth).

Dan graduated from St. Bonaventure University and proudly served in the U.S. Army followed by a successful career in sales for many years. He was a wonderful friend to all, always willing to help when needed, never met a stranger, and loved telling stories. Dan was an avid reader, enjoyed golf, and loved volunteering, most recently at St. Vincent De Paul in Hobe Sound, Florida.

A Visitation will be held on April 28th from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Aycock Young & Prill Funeral Home, 6801 SE Federal Highway, Stuart, FL 34997. A Memorial Mass will follow at 1:00 pm at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 12001 SE Federal Highway, Hobe Sound, FL 33455.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or The Society of St. Vincent DePaul.
