Carol was born in The Bronx, New York, to William and Dorothy Marshall on February 14, 1941. She attended high school at Massapequa Park High and graduated in 1959. She moved to Miami in 1966 and Stuart, FL in 2007.
She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Nelson Cerniglia of Stuart, FL; daughter, Diane Slater and her husband, Joseph of Sewall’s Point, FL; daughter, Barbara Wood and her husband, Gregory of Seattle, WA; son, Robert Martin of Miami, FL; grandchildren, Robert, Ryan, Reagan, Reece, Calvin, Keaton and Alexa; sister, Lorraine Zutell and her husband, Richard of Hudson, FL; sister Barbara Guarasci of Beth Page, NY; sister, Susan Cunningham and her husband, John of Massapequa Park of New York, and loving nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Palm City at 2:00 PM.
