Anne L. Faulkner, 87, of Stuart, FL passed away Wednesday morning, May 27, 2015 at Salerno Bay Manor in Stuart. She was born July 16, 1927 in Four States, WV, the youngest of four daughters of Benjamin (BJ) and Mary Szkola Lamek. Anne moved to Miami Beach when she was 20. Her first job was an elevator operator and it was there she met her future husband, Robert M. Faulkner. Anne would become employed by Southern Bell and begin a career that lasted for 25 years. She started as an operator, was promoted to management and before retiring, she transferred to Atlanta, where she began traveling around the country presenting seminars for retiree investment planning. During her career, Anne was proud to receive a perfect attendance award. She was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America. Her family will always remember her as a loving, caring and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Anne was a member of the Roman Catholic faith and attended St. Andrew Catholic Church. One of her past enjoyments had been traveling with her late husband, Robert McKell Faulkner of Houlton, ME with whom she was married for 56 years. She also traveled to many places around the world with her sister, Elizabeth Lamek Trader. Anne is survived by her loving daughters, Maureen Elizabeth Faulkner of Stuart and Lori Anne Cervantes (Michael E.) of Pembroke Pines and cherished granddaughter, Laura Elisa Rodriquez of Miami. In addition to her parents, Anne was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert M. Faulkner and three sisters, Elizabeth Lamek Trader, Jenee Summers and Helen Gaskins.
