Ross and I met Ruth in 1958 after they arrived in Canada.  We have wonderful memories of our adventures together, travelling, picnicking, camping and visiting over dinner.

Please accept our condolences to you all as you mourn the passage of your precious Mom and Grandma. also rejoicing with you with her passage to her eternal destination and rest. Ruth and Arne were such a precious couple and we enjoyed many years of fellowship with them in the Broadview Evangelical Church in Salmon Arm and we were blessed by their faithful love to God and to each other.  We had hoped to come to attend her Funeral but unfortunately Bill got sick and we were unable to attend. We trust that you will all feel the comfort of God through these times of sadness and take comfort that Ruth is leaving a precious Legacy. God Bless you all, Zina and Bill VB 

Moster Ruth was a very special lady. She always stood up for what is right, and she did it with love and with grace. I would say as I said about my mom and dad, “we were blessed to have her as a part of the family, and the world was blessed to have her for many years. 

Faster Ruth was an amazingly kind and warm hearted lady. She was authentic and true to who she was. There was no vice in her. She enjoyed being with family and friends and it was a pleasure to be with her too. When we were together as an extended family there was a lot of joy; a lot of fun with music, singing and chatting. Coffee, tea and cake was most often part of these get togethers. She was a true believer and her faith was a firm foundation for her. Faster Ruth was much loved and will be very much missed. 

I will always remember Faster (aunt) Ruth as a kind and caring lady.  She was a willing listener to whatever you had on your mind.  In her latter years I was able to enjoy phone conversations with her.  I will miss her.  She is now with her Lord and Saviour.  


It has been a joy for many years to have the benefit of Moster Ruth's affection.   A willing listener of my piano playing with small, caring comments of correction.  I will miss her singing of the Birthday Song making that day more special for me.

I met Ruth a few year’s ago at our family gatherings and loved her right away . Such a kind and caring person. She will be missed . 

In saying goodbye to one of my favourite Aunties, I reflect on the many visits with the Jorgensen clan and the unfailing love she showed me.  George and I had the opportunity for one last visit late in June and we could see she was becoming very tired.  I loved her smile because her eyes twinkled as well and I loved her for the person she was.    RIP Moster.


Ruth was an outgoing guest at many of our loud, busy and fun filled family gatherings.  We miss Ruth very much.  
Such a sweet and loving lady.
