Mrs. Lee Merrill Howard

Lee Merrill Howard, age 89, of Snellville passed away November 17, 2011. Born in Sarepta, LA to the late Henry and Jessie Lee Merrill. Mrs. Howard was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be greatly missed. She was a member of Annistown Road Baptist church Shreveport, LA Woodawn Baptist Church, Decatur, and Shiloh Hills Baptist Church Kennesaw. Proceeded in death by Husband Robert R. Howard and Daughter, Sandra Merrill Howard. She is survived by Sons, William H. Howard, Melvin J. and Denise Howard of Snellville, John C. and Lori Howard of Clarendon TX, Robert R. Howard Powder Springs, and Daughter, Nancy H. and Malcolm Thomson of Colorado Springs, CO, Grandchildren Kathryn, Dianne, Will, Justin, Gregory Jessica, Austin, Anthony, Spencer, Claire, and 4 Great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Monday, November 21, 2011 at 1PM at Annistown Road Baptist Church with Dr. Tim Hinds officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 20, 2011 from 2-5 PM at the funeral home. Those desiring may make donations to the Georgia Baptist Children’s Home or the Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Lee Merrill Howard.
