Vernon "Jack" Simon Robyn, 86, of Jasper, GA entered into rest on Saturday, October 29, 2011. He is the son of the late Sybron Simon Robyn, Jr. and Mae Robyn. Jack served in the US Army in WWII. He was a licensed Mechanical Engineer with a degree from University of Washington. He worked for Honeywell, Sexton Tire and Ebasco. Jack was a former member of Shallowford Presbyterian and served as deacon and elder. Then became a member of Big Canoe Chapel. His passion was singing in the choir. Those left behind to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 35 years: Joyce; children Leanne, Jay, Rick, and Tommy; 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 3 sisters and 1 one brother in Washington state. Services honoring Mr. Robyn will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at 11AM at Big Canoe Chapel. Interment will follow the service at 1:30PM at Georgia National Cemetery.
