Paula Guzman Gonzalez, age 83 of Stockton passed away on June 6, 2013 doing what she loved, working in her garden, the day before her 84th birthday. She retired from Tillie Lewis Cannery after over 25 years of service and enjoyed camping, fishing, taking care of her pets and especially spending time with her family.
Paula was preceded in death by her husbands Rodolfo Ramirez and Manuel B. Gonzalez and children Rudy, Jr., Freddie, Tony and Paul "Negro" Ramirez. She is survived by children Irma, Henry, Sr., Magdelena "Lien" and Doreen "Cory" Ramirez; 14 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 13 from 4-6 pm with a Recitation of the Rosary at 6:30 pm in the chapel of Frisbie-Warren & Carroll Mortuary, and her Funeral Mass will be on Friday at St. Linus Church, 2620 South B St. with committal following at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery.
