Joseph Gabriel SilvaAug. 2, 1928 - Nov. 29, 2016 Joseph Gabriel Silva was born Aug. 2, 1928 in Galt, CA and lived his adult life in Stockton, CA. He married Ernestine Gold of Galt in 1950. Throughout his life Joseph held many careers; he built residential swimming pools, was a partner with a residential alarm business and most notably Jolly Joe of "Jolly Joe's Bait & Tackle Shop" on Charter Way. After retiring, he returned home to help Ernestine with her child care. Papa Joe passed away peacefully on November 29, 2016 at his home. He is survived by his wife Ernestine Silva, his daughters; Tina Silva Blease and Iris Silva Lanichan, 8 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
