These are the words Ida lived by in her 99 years on earth. Treating her neighbors with grace, kindness, and generosity, until God called her home, as she was surrounded by her loving family, December 6, 2023.
Her love for her family and community showed through her 77 years of work as a bookkeeper at Sung Sung Market and Sun Wong Kee until her retirement at the age of 91.
Ida is preceded in death by her Husband of 47 years, Gim Tew, son Steven, partner Kar Sze Ho, parents Mah Foo, Ven Fong Wong, brothers Lim, Hong, Barry, Harold, and Gordon.
Ida is survived by her loving family: Andy (Mary), Debbie (Ron), daughter in-law Velma, 4 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and one great great-grandson, 3 sisters-in-law, along with many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on December 21st, from 3:00-7:00 PM at De Young Memorial Chapel 601 N. California Street, Stockton.
A Celebration of Life will be held for family and friends on January 21st. 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at China Palace, March Lane, Stockton CA.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Chinese Christian Church 703 E. Swain Rd. Stockton or Jene Wah Inc 238 E. Church St. Stockton.
