Georgia B. Smith-McKenzie was born on September 8, 1945, in French Camp, California to Ada B. Henderson and Jasper Smith. Georgia was baptized in 1962 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Stockton,California
Georgia was a beloved mother of six children and was well known for her colorful hairstyle, In 1976 she enrolled at Delux School of Cosmetology in Stockton, Ca. where she received her Cosmetologists License and would frequently style the hair of friends and family. Georgia went on to further her career by working in the Title business as a Title Secretary for Ticor Title Company, A Closing Unit Secretary for Chicago Title Company and Secretary for Alliance Title Co. in Stockton, California. Georgia would continue to follow her passion by working at the Women's Center-Youth & Family Services as an Intake Receptionist/Mentor until her retirement.
Georgia's life journey would carry her on to become closer to God by living a life of humility, gratitude, and respect for all of creation. And In 2007 her devotion to God started to become even more evident in all aspects of her life, when her spirit was led to worship at Progressive Community Church in Stockton, California, where Pastor Glenn R. Shields was her Pastor until her demise. Georgia cherished her Progressive Church Family and was eagerly excited to work on the Welcome Committee as well as the Culinarily Ministry. Georgia found strength and peace in her faith. She lived a life of service and enjoyed helping others in need.
Georgia's love for her family was immeasurable. She was a proud mother of six children; Keith D. White, Kevin W. White, Anthony H. White, Kenneth H. White, Shawn D. Smith, Harry McKenzie Jr., she was a cherished grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her loved ones, shopping, dancing, watching Let's Make A Deal, and Family Feud, she was also an avid Raider fan and would excitedly cheer while watching football games.

Preceded Georgia in death is her parents, Ada B Henderson, Jasper Smith, siblings: Dorothy Jo Smith, Doyle Smith, Levan Smith, AJ Smith, Carrie Mae Smith, Theresa Warren, Condia Lee Washington, Henry L. Washington Sr. (Shirley)
Georgia leaves to cherish her loving memory her six children, twenty two grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, brothers Walter Howell (Sandra), Andrew (June) Howell Jr., sister Bobbie Smith-Mathews-Jackson, and a host of niece's, nephew's, cousins and friends
Georgia's life was a testament to her power of faith and prayer. Georgia will always be remembered as a devoted mother, a strong protector and provider. She was a loving grandmother / great grandmother, loyal sister, respected aunt, adored cousin, and a dependable friend. She will be deeply missed by her loved ones and her memory will forever live on in our hearts.
