She ended up settling in New York, NY and lived there for more than 30 years. Acting predominantly on the stage but also appearing in many several movies and TV shows (most notably her many appearances in every incarnation of the Law & Order series). She moved back to Stockton in 2022, to spend time with family. She spent her last couple of years enjoying time with her book club, vacations to the beach, and spending time with her family and friends.
