Donald was born on January 4, 1930 in Toishan, China being there for many years while most of his family was here in Lodi running the family restaurant. He finally was able to join his family, to continue the business that ran for nearly seventy years along with his wife that he married in 1957. Upon their retirement, he was able to enjoy playing Mah Jong more often as well as seeing their numerous grandchildren. He was known for his easy going manner, gentle spirit, strong work ethic and big smile. His guidance and support will be greatly missed. Donald is survived by wife of almost 60 years, Jannie; children Julie, Linda (Craig), Lily, Cindy and Wilson; grandchildren Rachel Wong-Westbrooke, Ross Hornsby, Kyle Hornsby, Sean Wong-Westbrooke, Anthony Wong, Celeste Wong and Kayloni Wong along with his sister, Betty Wong of Houston, Texas. The memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the DeYoung Memorial Chapel (601 N. California Street, Stockton) at 2:00 p.m.
