She also graduated from San Joaquin Delta Community College with an AA Degree in 1980. She was a very happy child and still had many of those early friends as lifelong friends. Debra always had a smile on her face. Debra began working for Joann Fabrics right out of college. She has worked in many stores including Stockton, Modesto, Livermore, and Lodi, as Employee, Store Manager, Assistant Manager for almost 40 years. She was always kind and generous with her knowledge of sewing and crafting and enjoyed helping those with their individual projects.
Debra loved sewing, making jewelry, caring for the flowers and garden, and creating gifts for the young people in the family which included Halloween costumes. She will be greatly missed by her cats and birds.
Debra selflessly devoted her life to taking amazing care of her mother for many years. She never once complained about the hard work and time it took to make her mom’s life at home possible.
Debra found the love of her life, Don, 12 years ago. She was very happy to share her life with him and loved the grandmother role to his 9 grandchildren.
