Annie Marie Ortiz, born on February 19, 1949 in San Jose, California, to the late Angie Ramirez and Anthony Loya, passed away at age 69 on July 30, 2018 in Sacramento, California. Annie was the beloved and devoted wife of Lorenzo H. Ortiz. Some of her fondest memories are the adventures and travels she experienced with her husband. She is survived by her son, Lorenzo Ortiz Jr.; daughter, Maria Christina Yciano; grandchildren, Rosalinda Ortiz, Salvador M. Yciano III, Benito A. Yciano, Lorenzo F. Ortiz, and Anthony E. Ortiz; son-in-law, Salvador Yciano Jr.; and daughter-in-law Jacqueline Ortiz. Annie's grandchildren were the pride and joy of Annie's life. The legacy of Annie's kind spirit, passion for music, love of travel and unconditional love will live on through them. There was nothing more Annie wanted to do than spend time with her grandchildren, whether it was going to a school assembly or baseball game, Mama Ana or Nana, always made sure she had a front row seat. Although a difficult time, we find solace in the strength and will she displayed in her last days. Forever she will be missed, but never forgotten. Friends and family members may attend the Visitation on Monday, August 6TH at 3:00 p.m. at Frisbie Warren & Carroll Mortuary, 809 North California, Stockton, California, 95202. Following that, there will be a Rosary service at 6:00 p.m. at Frisbie Warren & Carroll Mortuary. A Catholic Mass will be held Tuesday, August 7TH at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's of the Assumption Church, 203 E. Washington St, Stockton, California, 95202. Burial will be Tuesday, August 7TH at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery, 719 E. Harding Way, Stockton, California, 95204. Celebration of life will be held after burial from 1pm-5pm at American Legion Ed Stewart Post 803, 3110 West Lane, Stockton, California 95204.
