A True Matriarch Amelia's quick wit and flare for sarcasm had a way of drawing you in and making you family. Her facial expressions clearly let you know if you should hold your tongue or let loose. Ever so joyful, tactful and genuine she was. a beautiful person in and out. She loved to dance and enjoyed listening to Mexican music, recalling cherished memories of her parents and youth. Memories that she passed on to those who took the time to listen. Her hobbies;gardening, sewing, needle point and crocheting, beautiful blankets for her loved ones.
Also cooking, there was not a day, you wouldn't find her in the kitchen creating her delicious Mexican dishes, the aroma of refried beans and fresh homemade tortillas in the air, along with those frequently used words, "quieres un taco", and who could refuse them?
