He was preceded in death by his dad, Gordon Brooks; his mom, Beatrice Blackwell; his sister, Muriel; his wife, Deborah Brooks, and Betty Riley.
He is survived by his brother, Jerry (Lynn) Brooks; one sister, Linda (Obie) Sparks; his brother, Tony (Sandra) Blackwell; his children, Paul (Archana) Brooks, Melissa Royals, and Chris Spinks; his grandchildren Mariah, Morgan and Xander; seven great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews that all adored him.
A celebration of life memorial service and potluck reception for Tommy will be held Friday, October 25, 2024 at 1:00 PM at The Good Shepherd Worship Center | 805 Zebulon Street, Barnesville, GA 30204.
Family and friends are encouraged to bring a dish to contribute to the reception in honor of Tom.
