Mrs. Miller was born to parents William and Maggie Nash on May 6, 1934 in Atlanta, Georgia. After graduating from Roosevelt High School, she excelled at her chosen profession as banker. After retirement, Sheila enjoyed tending to the yard and traveling.
Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her husband James B. Miller and step son, Brian Miller.
She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Guy Neely of McDonough and step daughters and sons-in-law, Connie and Scott White of Jasper, Penny Long of Statham and Nancy and Ron Huseby of Gainesville. She was also blessed with 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Family will receive visitation on Monday, April 8, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel | 376 Fairview Road Stockbridge, GA 30281. Funeral services for Mrs. Miller will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at The Fairview Chapel. Services will conclude with a graveside committal at Fairview Memorial Gardens | 164 Fairview Road Stockbridge, GA 30281. Pastor Warren Green, officiating.
