Paul Buchanan, 75, passed away peacefully in his home on Friday, January 28, 2022. He was the husband of Julie Buchanan. They shared 10 years of wonderful marriage together.
Paul was born on July 25, 1946 to Herman and Bonnie Buchanan in Brevard, North Carolina. He was a truck driver for 58 years and recently retired from ABF after 31 years of being with the company. He loved being on the road. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, collecting coins, and loved his two dogs, Sissy and Bobo. More than anything he loved spending time with his family. He got along with everyone and always tried to help and encourage people. He loved making people smile and laugh.
He is survived by his wife, Julie Buchanan; sons, Curtis Buchanan and his wife Leah Buchanan and Clifford Buchanan; stepdaughters, Andria Hernandez and Tammy Yarbrough; and 18 grandchildren.
At his wish, there will not be a service, but instead, a private family gathering.
